Transfer Caldera de Taburiente

If you want to discover the Caldera de Taburiente National Park at your own pace, you can do so with our option of transfer without a guide.  The Caldera de Taburiente is one of the largest erosion craters in the world. Declared a national park in 1954, with magnificent landscapes and endemic vegetation.  If you come to La Palma, you can’t miss it.

The beginning of the well-known path of the caldera (PR LP 13) is located at 1081 m altitude in the Mirador de Los Brecitos.  You can go there with our transfer. From this vantage point, a path leads you into the heart of the national park, winding through pine forests and small ravines. After about two hours of descent, you will reach the Camping Area next to the visitor center. There you can relax and enjoy the magnificent views, surrounded by the rich flora of the place, and you can even take a refreshing bath in the water, which flows naturally from the interior of the earth through the bed of the Taburiente Gorge. Nature in its purest form and a perfect place also where you can eat something before continuing your way.

Then you need to decide where you want to go. Either you go to the beginning of the path at the Mirador de Los Brecitos, or you choose the option to walk through the ravine of the Barranco de las Angustias. Both are collection points of our transfer.

If you are one of the brave and in good physical condition, you can venture through the Barranco de Las Angustias to contemplate the famous Cascada de Colures or the peculiar, Pillow lava on this route that will take you to our collection point in the well-known “Parking de La Viña” at the end of the ravine.

With this transfer you can visit the National Park La Caldera de Taburiente, the heart of La Palma, at your leisure. Do you dare?
