Heading to the volcanoes in 4×4

On this excursion, we will discover the volcano in a more adventurous way. We depart with a 4×4 BUS from the Los Cancajos area at 08:40, heading along the entire southeast coast to Fuencaliente.

 

Once in Fuencaliente, we will descend between the volcanoes of San Antonio and Teneguía, with a brief stop to see Teneguía, before reaching the Lighthouse and the Salt Flats, pausing for photo opportunities. We will visit La Glorieta Square in Las Manchas and, before crossing the lava flows, we’ll see the Lava Delta from the Hoyas viewpoint, all while aboard our 4×4 BUS.

 

We will pass by various viewpoints to observe the different volcanoes in the area. After taking a break for lunch and relaxation, we will ascend to La Cumbrecita Viewpoint, from where we can enjoy beautiful views of the National Park of La Caldera.

 

Descending once more, we head towards Llano del Jable, an area from where we may catch a glimpse of the new Tajogaite volcano, weather permitting. We will continue to the Llano de Las Ventas viewpoint before returning home.
